On behalf of the organizing committee of Swiss-Russian Health Forum (hereinafter) we have the honour to invite you to participate in the 5th Anniversary of SRHF that is going to be held on 21-22 September in Moscow at the premises of Sechenov University Congress Centre.
The main theme of the 5th SRHF will be: “Medical Education, Translational Medicine, Digital Health: Addressing Challenges of the Future Today”. Within this theme, we plan to discuss a wide range of issues concerning the development of advanced technological solutions in health care, electronic medical education, biotechnologies, digital health, organization and management of healthcare system and medical care that are vital for healthcare professionals and ultimately for patients in both countries.
During the event, several round tables will be held at which various achievements as well as Swiss-Russian cooperation will be discussed in such fields as multiple sclerosis, immunotherapy of cancer, haemophilia, healthcare quality and safety and others. Please see the attached program.
The special feature of this Forum is the broadcasting of the event to various medical universities of Russia and CIS countries with the possibility of online interaction.
The idea of holding the Forum was endorsed and supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow.
We will be glad to see you at the 5th Swiss-Russian Health Forum!
Ambassador of Switzerland
to the Russian Federation
I am happy to invite you to the Fifth Swiss-Russian Health Forum, an event aimed at contributing to the improvement of public health and - ultimately - the quality of life in our countries.
Based on the fact that a good number of Swiss and Russian healthcare professionals cooperate on the institutional and individual levels, the Embassy of Switzerland in the Russian Federation and the Swiss-Russian Forum Foundation initiated this project back in 2011. Since then, the Health Forum has already become a good tradition of bringing together the Swiss and Russian healthcare communities to discuss important issues of public healthcare policy, new approaches in treatment and the latest achievements in research.
Nowadays, the Swiss-Russian Health Forum serves as a coordination and exchange platform for Swiss and Russian scientists, practitioners and producers of medications, as well as medical equipment. The Forum is based on existing partnerships with a goal to expand and deepen the bilateral cooperation for the benefit of Swiss and Russian patients.
Given that Life Sciences are one of the priority areas in the Swiss-Russian scientific cooperation, research is the driving force of the Forum and of the broad bilateral cooperation in healthcare which also includes another important dimension - business, especially med-tech and biopharmaceutical sectors.
I am confident that the Fifth Swiss-Russian Health Forum will be a launching pad for new bilateral projects both in research and business and will further enhance cooperation between Switzerland and Russia.
